The software

• ComfortFiles is licensed, not sold. A license lets you install and use the app on Macs you own or control, for as long as the license is valid.
• The free trial gives you the fully functional app for one month per computer. After the trial the app continues to work with periodic purchase reminders — buying a license removes them and supports development.
• Final license terms (seats, renewal, refunds) will be published here together with the public launch of paid licenses, before any payment is taken.

Fair use

• Don’t redistribute modified builds of the app as your own.
• Don’t use the name “ComfortFiles” in a way that suggests your product or service is ours.

No warranty

ComfortFiles is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app — including data loss. The app moves real files on your real disks: it ships with safety features (undo, trash) precisely because we take that seriously, but backups are still yours to keep.

Website content is provided for information. “Windows” and “Windows Explorer” are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation; “Mac”, “macOS”, and “Finder” are trademarks of Apple Inc. ComfortFiles is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft or Apple.
